Group Classes, Info Sessions & Other Services

Our tutors and consultants regularly hold classes, seminars, workshops and information sessions on a variety of topics related to general education, academic enrichment, standardized test prep, and the college admissions process. Join us for this 90 minute seminar covering all the basics of what you need to know to successfully attempt the negotiation of your Financial Aid Award. Learn the difference between an appeal (which is made through a school's financial aid office by the parent) and a negotiation (which is made through a school's admissions office by the student). Each requires specific and different criteria. Which is right for you? Sample letters will be provided. To reserve your seat today, use the PayPal option that's right for you (below).

 Each 4+ hour session will include test taking strategies, sample exam questions, practice tests, and answer review. English prep will run from 10:30 AM-12:30 PM. Math prep will run from 1-3 PM. There will be a 30 minute break for lunch. While students will have the opportunity to practice their test-taking skills, our prep emphasizes the strategies needed to decipher the correct answers. We do not focus on improving students' reading comprehension or vocabulary skills or reteach students algebra 1 and 2. Every student receives an SAT prep book, which includes multiple practice tests, to keep.

If you cannot commit to all the dates in a session, contact us to discuss a prorated fee for those you can attend! We cannot guarantee make up dates in the event of inclement weather, but we will make best efforts to do so if possible. Seats are provided on a first come, first serve basis. Payment serves as registration and reserves your seat.
