"My experience working with Mrs. Smith has been exceptional. I started working with Mrs. Smith in 4th grade, over the next 3 years we created a very special bond. I was reading at a 4rd grade reading level when I started working with Mrs. Smith, and within 1 1/2 years of using Orton-Gillingham, I was able to reach a high school reading level. I loved school and reading but I was always very self conscious and embarrassed about reading out loud. Popcorn reading was my worst nightmare. By the end of my time with Mrs. Smith, I wouldn’t stress so much about reading because of my new-found confidence.
